My name is Dr. Bolaji Olugboja, and I am a trained family, psychiatric, and mental healthcare provider who believes in patient-centered care despite cultural diversities. I have my specializations in primary/family care as well as mental and behavioral health medications management. I am mostly referred to as Dr. B. I started my medical career as a registered nurse and worked in different capacities, as a nursing home nurse, various hospitals, dialysis nurse, and an advocate for the proper health and well-being of diverse people requiring adequate healthcare.
Despite obtaining my first degree in Information technology, I have advanced to being a nurse practitioner and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with business management qualities. My nursing degree was obtained from the University of Maryland, School of Nursing, Master’s in nursing with a specialty in family from the University of Maryland and my post-masters Psychiatric degree from George Washington University, while my Doctorate degree was obtained from Walden University.
In total, I have over 13 years of experience caring for individuals and families with medical, mental, and behavioral health concerns.
